The pipeline

Five stages. Each one controlled.

A product travels the same road every time. The difference is whether someone is watching the instruments.

STAGE 01

Concept

Design for manufacturing, decided before tooling locks it in — cost, tolerances, test strategy.

STAGE 02

Sourcing

Suppliers chosen on capability and stability — then qualified, never assumed.

STAGE 03

Quality control

Inspection at the right checkpoints, built into the process — not bolted on after shipping.

STAGE 04

Logistics

Freight, customs, warehousing — handoffs handled so nothing stalls at a border.

STAGE 05

Launch

First production on time, at cost, at quality — and stable for the next run.

FAQ

Known issues. Documented answers.

IP is managed by design: NDA and contract discipline, controlled documentation to suppliers, tooling and component ownership held by you, and a deliberate policy of never handing the full picture to a single factory.

Quality failures are almost always process failures. I find where the process breaks — incoming inspection, in-line controls, final test — and fix it there, so it stays fixed instead of recurring shipment after shipment.

You get one accountable point of contact. I speak the factory’s language — process, tolerances, timelines — and translate it into decisions you can actually make.

MOQs and pricing are negotiable when you know what drives them. I renegotiate from the cost structure — materials, labor, yield, overhead — not from the first quote.

Slipping lead times are a planning failure with symptoms in production. I fix the planning and scheduling first, so dates become commitments you can build a business on.

If it's an electromechanical product with engineering content and mid-scale volumes — controllers, cooling, cameras, audio — it’s my home ground. If it's commodity scale, I’ll tell you straight.

15+ years of NPI at a leading European music-technology manufacturer. The failures are already paid for.

Global supply chain and new product introduction for hardware that ships worldwide — launched repeatedly at quality and at cost. A process that catches problems while they're cheap to fix, and a supplier network proven under real production pressure. You don’t pay me to learn; you pay me to have already learned.
